Funded Childcare
FEET is the offer of 15 hours of funded childcare a week. Find out if your 2 year old can get FEET funding by checking the financial and automatically funded criteria below.
If you meet the eligibility criteria and are using a Surrey childcare provider you can either apply online through the Funded childcare parent portal or complete a Surrey FEET Application Form (pdf) and send to the following address and not the address on the form:

FEET Application Form
In England, all three and four year olds are entitled to up to 15 hours of funded childcare a week for up to 38 weeks a year. This is to give children the opportunity to take part in planned learning activities, and help prepare them for school through the early learning goals set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Providing 30 hours of funded childcare
In a two parent family, both must work full or part-time and in a one parent family the sole parent must work full or part-time. Each parent must earn at least £107 per week (£5,574 per year) but less than £100,000 per year.
The government has introduced the Childcare Choices website where parents can apply for both Tax-Free Childcare and 30 hours free childcare. They have also produced a 30 Hours Eligibility Guidance to help parents understand if they’re eligible.
Parents who don’t want to use Tax-Free Childcare can still apply through this website for the 30 hours funded childcare. They will need to fill in an online application and if they're eligible, they'll be given an 11 digit eligibility code. The parent will then bring this code to the pre-school and we will need you to fill in an eligibility form. Holy Trinity Pre-School is currently offering 30 hour places to 3 families each academic year.
